Ingredients
1 (12-pack) King’s Hawaiian Sweet Rolls
2 cups cooked shredded chicken (rotisserie or boiled)
6–8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1/2 cup ranch dressing
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup (4 tablespoons) melted butter
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon dried parsley (optional)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
2. Slice the entire slab of Hawaiian rolls horizontally through the middle, keeping them connected. Place bottom half in prepared dish.
3. Evenly spread shredded cooked chicken over bottom rolls.
4. Drizzle ranch dressing evenly over chicken.
5. Sprinkle crumbled bacon over ranch.
6. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over bacon.
7. Place top half of rolls over cheese, pressing gently.
8. In a small bowl, combine melted butter, garlic powder, and optional parsley. Brush mixture over tops of rolls.
9. Cover dish loosely with foil. Bake for 15 minutes.
10. Remove foil and bake for additional 5-10 minutes, until tops are golden brown and cheese is bubbly.
11. Let rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving warm.
Notes
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2-3 days. Reheat in oven at 300°F for 10-15 minutes for best texture. To prevent sogginess, avoid over-saucing and ensure chicken is not overly moist.
