12–16 Mozzarella String Cheese Sticks (full-fat)
12–16 strips Thin-Cut Bacon
Dipping Sauce (optional: marinara, ranch, hot honey)
Toothpicks (optional)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Partially freeze mozzarella sticks for 10-15 minutes to make wrapping easier.
3. Wrap each mozzarella stick tightly with one strip of bacon in a spiral, overlapping slightly. Secure ends with a toothpick if needed.
4. Place sticks seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each.
5. Bake for 15-20 minutes until bacon is crispy and cheese is melted.
6. Let cool for 2-3 minutes before serving with desired dipping sauce.
Notes
For air fryer: cook at 375°F (190°C) for 8-12 minutes, flipping halfway.
For freezing unbaked: wrap and freeze on a sheet, then transfer to a bag; bake from frozen at 400°F for 20-25 minutes.
Reheat leftovers in oven or air fryer at 350°F for 8-12 minutes; avoid microwave.
